About Mysoen Batik
Siti Romelah, known as Ibu Mela, began her batik journey in 2013. What started as casual curiosity slowly grew into a deep passion as she discovered the beauty, meaning, and artistry within the batik-making process. She learned through hands-on practice, exhibitions, and inspiration from fellow artisans, continually refining her style and understanding of local motifs. One of her signature inspirations is the Gajah Oling motif, a reminder to stay connected to God in every step of life. Through Mysoen Batik, she hopes people can appreciate not only the aesthetic of each piece but also the cultural pride and philosophy behind it.
