Godho Batik is a brand that blends hand-drawn, stamped, and combination batik with a distinctive visual identity and its signature smoke color technique. The brand offers a wide range of products, including batik fabrics made from cotton, silk, and satin, as well as batik clothing and various accessories such as fans, keychains, caps, and masks. One of its hallmark motifs is Gajah Oling, symbolizing gratitude and the remembrance of God’s greatness. With a production capacity of 800–1000 pieces per month, Godho Batik continues to uphold its signature motifs and color palettes while serving both retail and wholesale needs.
About Godho Batik
Firman Sauqi, the owner of Godho Batik, is the third generation of a batik artisan family whose roots trace back to the early 1900s. He began learning batik as a teenager, teaching himself the craft and later gaining deeper insight by learning from batik artisans across Indonesia. With over 40 years of experience, he has developed a distinctive artistic style and successfully kept Godho Batik thriving. Firman believes batik is a form of self-expression, and he dedicates his work to helping people achieve the look they dream of through customized motifs, colors, and designs. Through his craft, he preserves tradition while introducing modern touches that make batik accessible to a wider audience.
