Batik Mertosari is a batik brand specializing in hand-drawn, stamped, and combination batik, characterized by soft, elegant color tones. Each motif is deeply inspired by the surrounding natural environment, including local plants and living elements. Signature designs such as Sulur Godong—symbolizing continuous growth of life and prosperity—and Dumara, inspired by local fruits like durian, mangosteen, and rambutan, form the brand’s strong identity. Batik Mertosari offers batik fabrics, clothing, and accessories such as scarves, udeng, and batik bracelets, with a monthly production capacity of approximately 200–300 pieces. Every creation is intended to convey elegance while carrying meaningful cultural philosophy.
About Batik Mertosari
Fitriyah, the founder of Batik Mertosari, has been dedicated to batik craftsmanship for around 10 years. Drawing inspiration from natural and human resources around her, she treats her environment as an essential part of her creative process. Working with fine cotton fabric, wax, and carefully selected dyes, Fitriyah consistently produces batik while preserving traditional techniques. She believes batik is more than patterned cloth—it is a cultural heritage rich with meaning and stories. Through Batik Mertosari, she hopes wearers feel confident, understand the philosophy behind each motif, and express a refined, elegant presence.
